SavoMedia Privacy Policy

Overview

SavoMedia is a social media saver developed by MobUtils Labs. We designed SavoMedia with a focus on simple use, local processing, and privacy-conscious handling of user data.

Information We Collect

SavoMedia does not require an account or login and does not request your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or other personal information.

Media You Choose to Process

When you use SavoMedia, you may provide a public Instagram URL or select media from your device, such as WhatsApp Status media. The app processes the content you explicitly choose to save.

SavoMedia does not request or use Instagram or WhatsApp passwords, login credentials, cookies, session tokens, or private-account access.

Network Communication

When you provide a public Instagram URL, SavoMedia may make HTTPS network requests necessary to retrieve publicly accessible media.

SavoMedia does not intentionally upload your selected media to a MobUtils Labs server for storage or processing.

WhatsApp Status

WhatsApp Status media is imported only when you explicitly select it through the supported Android file-selection flow. The selected media is processed locally by SavoMedia.

Storage and History

Media that you save is stored on your device. SavoMedia also maintains a local download history so you can view and manage media saved through the app.

You can remove saved items using the app's available history controls. SavoMedia does not maintain an online account containing your download history.

Permissions

SavoMedia does not use broad storage access permissions. The app uses Android's supported user-mediated file selection mechanisms when importing media from your device.

Advertising and Analytics

The current version of SavoMedia does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Data Sharing

MobUtils Labs does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

Security

SavoMedia uses HTTPS for applicable network communication and applies validation to media and URLs processed by the app.

Children's Privacy

SavoMedia does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app's functionality or privacy practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
